Thanks for wanting to join our dynamic Chit-Chat team.
We work with 50+ tutors.
Here’s what we look for:
- Collaboration, friendliness and a passion for tutoring. Approachable, authentic, personable, communicative and energetic.
- Students who scored 90%+ in a matric subject, and/or experienced, dynamic teachers can apply.
- A commitment to a full academic year or longer. Consistency is key – our students thrive with a trusted tutor,
building strong relationships that boost results. - Tutors resigning after an academic year need to give 2 full term’s notice.
- We require our tutors to have a minimum of 4 students.
- We work EXCLUSIVELY with super-responsive tutors who are WhatsApp-ready. At Chit-Chat, speedy responses and flexibility can’t be overstated – we’re all about being present for clients.
- Face-2-face tutors need their own reliable transport and a criminal record certificate before lesson 1.
- Tutors are expected to work exclusively with Chit-Chat from the start, though existing private clients are exempt.
